Warranty Information

Ranger Communications, Inc. (Ranger) provides a limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship in this product to the original purchaser only, as described below.

All Ranger products are covered by a 1-year limited warranty. The product is warranted for the specified time period from the original date of purchase, as shown on the original purchaser’s invoice, receipt, or other proof of purchase.

In the event of a defect during the warranty period, Ranger may choose to repair or replace the defective product. This action will constitute the purchaser’s exclusive remedy under this warranty. Before returning any product for warranty repair, it is necessary to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from the Ranger Customer Service Department. This warranty does not cover cosmetic damage or damage due to acts of God, accidents, misuse, negligence, improper installation, unauthorized modification, or any action in violation of the product’s instruction manual. This warranty is valid only in the United States. ANY MODIFICATIONS FROM THE ORIGINAL FACTORY DESIGN WILL VOID THIS WARRANTY.

This warranty is limited to Ranger products only. Ranger will not be liable for consequential damages, including damage to other products caused by any defect or condition of a Ranger product.

Attach a detailed letter explaining the problems you are having with the radio. The more information you can provide, the easier it will be for the technician to locate the problem. Please include your name, return address and phone number.

You must enclose a copy of your receipt or proof of purchase. Please retain the original receipt for your records.

Ensure that the radio is properly packed to prevent any damage to it during transit. It is the shipper’s responsibility to make sure that the radio is shipped safely. Shipping and insurance charges are shipper’s responsibility. You must write the Return Authorization Number on the outside of the box. Please allow 3 to 4 weeks total repair time including shipping.
